Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. This policy sets out your rights to return goods purchased through ZwipKart, in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Your Statutory Rights

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to reject goods that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that fails, a partial or full refund. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

30-Day Return Window

In addition to your statutory rights, ZwipKart offers a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. You may return any item for a full refund within this period, provided it is returned in the condition in which it was received, with all original accessories and packaging where possible.

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For online purchases, you also have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, starting from the day you receive your goods. You can cancel for any reason within this period. Contact us at support@zwipkart.com to notify us of your cancellation.

How to Return an Item

  • Contact our team via email (support@zwipkart.com) or phone (07450 870864)
  • Provide your order reference and reason for return
  • We will provide a prepaid returns label or arrange free collection within 5 working days
  • Return the item within 14 days of notifying us
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item

Marketplace Orders

For items sold by third-party Sellers through ZwipKart, the same return rights apply. Returns are coordinated through ZwipKart — you do not need to contact the Seller directly. If a Seller fails to process your return, ZwipKart's Buyer Protection programme will ensure you receive your refund.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, contact us immediately. We will arrange free collection and either replace the item or issue a full refund — your choice. For faults developing after 30 days but within your warranty period, please refer to the Warranty section below.

Exclusions

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Items that have been installed and used (unless faulty)
  • Items that have been modified or damaged by the customer
  • Clearance or "final sale" items (clearly marked at time of purchase)
  • Hygiene-sensitive items that have been unsealed (where applicable)

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return postage, whichever is earlier). Standard delivery costs are refunded for cancellations within the cooling-off period; enhanced delivery costs (e.g. next-day) are not refundable. Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ZwipKart website (zwipkart.com) and any purchase of goods made through our platform. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

ZwipKart is operated by ZwipKart Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number pending). Registered office: 593F Atlas Road, Harrow, HA9 0JH. Contact: support@zwipkart.com.

2. The Marketplace

ZwipKart operates as an online marketplace. Products listed on the site may be sold directly by ZwipKart Ltd or by independent third-party sellers ("Sellers") who list products through our platform. Where a product is sold by a Seller, this will be clearly indicated on the product listing. ZwipKart facilitates the transaction and processes payment on behalf of the Seller.

3. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the goods. The contract between you and the seller (ZwipKart Ltd or the relevant Seller) is formed when we send your order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where the item is out of stock, there is a pricing error, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT at the prevailing UK rate (currently 20%). Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Klarna, and Clearpay. Payment is taken at the time of order. All transactions are processed securely via PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processors (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.

5. Product Descriptions & Condition

We make every effort to accurately describe the condition, specifications, and features of products listed on ZwipKart. Products may be brand new, refurbished, or pre-owned, and the condition grade is clearly stated on each listing. Minor discrepancies between product photographs and the actual item may occur. Where a product is sold by a third-party Seller, the Seller is responsible for the accuracy of their listings, though ZwipKart monitors listings for compliance.

6. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact us at support@zwipkart.com within 14 days of delivery. You must return the goods in an unused, undamaged condition within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation. We will refund the purchase price (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return postage.

7. Consumer Rights Act 2015

In addition to your cancellation rights, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If goods are faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of delivery, or a repair or replacement thereafter. These are your statutory rights and nothing in these Terms affects them.

8. Marketplace Liability

For products sold directly by ZwipKart Ltd, we are fully responsible for the product and your consumer rights. For products sold by third-party Sellers, ZwipKart acts as an intermediary and facilitates the transaction. However, ZwipKart operates a Buyer Protection programme: if a Seller fails to resolve a valid complaint, ZwipKart will step in to ensure you receive a refund or replacement.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the ZwipKart website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of ZwipKart Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZwipKart Ltd's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of the site or purchase of goods shall not exceed the price you paid for the relevant goods. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of data, or any damages not reasonably foreseeable at the time of contract formation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@zwipkart.com. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, you may refer the matter to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider or to the courts. The European Commission also provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr (applicable to EU consumers).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.

14. Contact

For any queries regarding these Terms, please contact us at legal@zwipkart.com or write to ZwipKart Ltd, 593F Atlas Road, Harrow, HA9 0JH.
