Reviews are how ZwipKart buyers protect each other. The short version: every review is from a real, verified purchase; honest opinions publish instantly and stay up — good or bad; and nobody can buy, trade, or delete their way around one.
Every review on ZwipKart comes from a verified purchase. Before a review is accepted, our system checks that the reviewer’s account placed the order, that the order contains the exact product being reviewed, and that it was delivered. There is no other way to post a review — not for customers, not for sellers, not for us.
You can leave a review up to 90 days after delivery, and each customer can review a product once — buying it again lets you update your existing review rather than add a second one.
Alongside your stars and words, each review shows a Verified Purchase badge, the condition tier you bought (for example “Excellent”), the month you purchased, and the shop you bought from. We add these from our order records — they can’t be edited or faked.
You can attach up to 5 photos. Photo reviews are the most useful thing you can leave for other buyers of refurbished tech — they show the real condition of a real device.
Clean reviews publish straight away— we don’t pre-approve opinions, positive or negative. Automatic checks screen every review for abuse, spam, links, and attempts to move sales off the platform; anything caught is held for a human on our team to look at, usually within a day.
We neverremove a review because it’s critical. A review only comes down if it breaks the rules below — and when our team hides or removes one, that action is logged.
Abusive or discriminatory language • spam or advertising • links, phone numbers, or email addresses • personal information about anyone • content about a different product or order • fake reviews of any kind. Reviews that break these rules are hidden or removed.
Nobody can pay for a review on ZwipKart.We don’t offer incentives for reviews, and sellers are forbidden from offering customers anything in exchange for a review or its removal. A refund does not delete your review — your experience stays on the record.
Sellers can post one public reply to a review of their shop, pin their favourite reviews on their storefront, and flag a review they believe is unfair for our team to look at.
Sellers can neveredit, hide, or delete a customer’s review, and they can’t see who marked a review helpful or who reported one.
A product’s star rating is the straight average of all its published verified reviews — no weighting, no curation. A shop’s rating is the average of the verified reviews on everything it has sold. When a review is added, edited, hidden, or removed, both ratings recalculate automatically.
You can edit your review for 30 daysafter posting (or again after a repeat purchase), and you can delete it at any time from the product page while it’s published.
